A Dedicated Trust Partner for Wealth Advisors & CPAs

We provide the spendthrift trust design and estate structuring your clients need—without ever competing for investment management, advisory fees, or custody.

Why Partner With Ewing Legal Group?

As a wealth advisor or CPA, your high-net-worth clients frequently ask for trust structuring and asset protection. Yet traditional law firms often take months to draft documents, communicate in impenetrable legalese, and fail to coordinate with your Investment Policy Statement (IPS).

Zero AUM Competition

We strictly provide trust structuring and educational document preparation. Your client’s assets remain 100% under your management and custodian.

IPS-Aligned Trust Drafting

We craft trustee investment provisions that explicitly grant your firm discretionary authority to manage trust portfolios under modern prudent investor rules.

Fast, Predictable Delivery

Dedicated intake channels for advisors ensure documents move from concept to execution in weeks rather than a half-year queue.

Advisor Frequently Asked Questions

Who serves as Trustee? Does Ewing Legal Group act as corporate trustee?

Most clients appoint a family member, trusted colleague, or an independent corporate trust company. Ewing Legal Group provides structuring and documentation; we do not displace institutional trust companies or force an internal trustee on your client unless specifically engaged for specialized administration.

How does the trust language address the advisor's investment management agreement?

Our trust instruments incorporate explicit delegation powers under the Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA), specifically authorizing the Trustee to delegate investment management discretion to an RIA and pay customary advisory fees directly from trust accounts.

Do you work with advisors across all 50 states?

Yes. While our firm is based in Utah, our spendthrift trusts are written and structured under the governing laws of the State of Nevada—widely recognized by estate practitioners as the premier domestic trust jurisdiction nationwide. Our frameworks accommodate clients and advisory practices across all 50 states, coordinating with local counsel where state-specific execution mandates apply.
